I discovered my love for
making jewelry when I took a jewelry class in high
school. After taking 3 years of high school jewelry
I decided I couldn't stop there. In 1981 I received a
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Kansas with
a specialty in Jewelry and Silversmithing. After
graduating I started my business and have been creating jewelry
and doing craft shows.
I try to
create a timeless piece of jewelry that will be cherished and
worn for many years and thus becoming an heirloom. I individually
handcraft every item, using the same fabrication methods used by
silversmiths for ages. Including fabrication which means I
start with the metal in sheet or wire form and then I cut,
shape, texture, solder and build each piece.
If you live
in my area I hope you will come by and visit me at one of my
shows. Please e-mail
me if you have any questions.
